Mr. Agha is one of the pioneer members of Askari Bank who joined the Bank in 1992. After serving as Manager / Chief Manager at various branches in Lahore, he rose to the position of Area Manager Lahore/ North. Currently he is Group Head for Marketing & Strategic Planning.
Mr. Agha Ali Imam is also Chairman Association of Mortgage Bankers (AMB) Pakistan and Member of the Board of Directors for Askari Leasing Ltd.
Mr. Agha started his career with Habib Bank Limited in 1971 after which he served Bank Al-Mashreq (Bank of Oman) from 1974 to 1979 and, came back to Pakistan in 1979 & joined Muslim Commercial Bank. He also served Bank of Credit and Commerce International (BCCI) Egypt, Paris, France & Turkey as Country Manager.
He is dynamic, enterprising banker with a strong academic background, carrying a 33 years of local and international banking experience.
He successfully completed courses on “Improving and Expanding Housing Finance System” and “Workshop on Securitization” at the Wharton Business School, University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, USA.
He also participated in the 3rd Housing Finance Conference held at IFC HQs, Washington D.C. USA.
He was a Key Note Speaker in the Conference “Channel Management for BFSI” in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia organized by the CoreVentus (M) Kuala Lumpur.
He was also a Key Note Speaker and Panel Member for the consultative dialogue for “The Asian Banker’s premier South Asian Retail Bankers” Academy held at Grand Maratha Sheraton, Mumbai India.
He has also attended various courses and seminars covering management areas like UCP, Strategic Management, Financial Concepts and techniques, both a national and international level.
Mr. Ejaz Ahmed Khan is one of the pioneer members
of ASKARI BANK who joined the Bank in 1993 as Assistant
Vice President/Branch Manager Faisalabad Branch. After
working in the capacity of Area Manager Lahore as
well as East, he rose to the rank of SEVP and is currently
holding the post of Regional General Manager-Central.
Mr. Ejaz started his career almost 33 years back
with UBL as Management Trainee Officer and remained
associated with UBL prior to joining Askari Bank.
His area of specialization is Credit Operations.
He holds a graduate degree and has attended a number
of local and foreign courses in technical and soft
skills including but not limited to Bank Operations,
International Trade & Banking and Change Management.
Mr. Haseeb Saulat joined Askari Bank in February 1992 and is currently holding the position of EVP / Regional General Manager – North.
Mr. Haseeb Saulat possesses a rich Banking experience of more than 22 years starting from 1985 in BCCI as Incharge, General Banking. He joined Askari Bank in 1992 as Incharge Foreign Currency at our Blue Area Branch. In 1995, he was promoted as AVP - Incharge Chinese Cell / Marketing, Incharge Foreign Trade / Credits. He rose to the position of VP / Branch Manager in 1998 becoming chief Manager in 2001.
Consequent upon Restructuring & Change Management Program of the Bank, he was designated as Area Manager-Islamabad in 2007.
He is a business graduate from Greenwich University, Lahore, and has attended a number of foreign and local training courses including Comprehensive Banking Training Programme, Finance of Foreign Trade, Budgeting, Effective Customer Services in competitive environment, Issues relating to Foreign Trade Business, Dinner talk on current Financial & Economic Issues of Pakistan, Investment Conference.
Mr. Hashim Khan Hoti joined Askari Bank Limited in August 2006 and is holding the positions of Country Head - Islamic Banking Division.
Mr. Hashim Hoti possesses a diversified Banking and Non Banking experience of 29 years. He started his career as Management Trainee Officer in BCCI (Overseas) Limited, Training Center Karachi in 1979. After completion of two years training, he served in BCCI at UK and Hong Kong at officer and Manager position handling various assignments in Credits, Foreign Trade & marketing. He was appointed as director Finance in Printworks Limited, Hong Kong in 1989 where he re-arranged company's corporate structure and financing methodology. He landed back to Pakistan as MD- International Financial Consultants (Pvt.) Ltd, Pehswar in 1993. He joined Prime Commercial Bank in 1995 and handled various assignments culminating to Head of Consumer Banking Division, Lahore. He moved to SME Bank Limited as EVP/Head of Commercial Banking Division & Treasury. His last assignment prior to joining Askari Bank was as Chief Executive, Agribusiness Support Fund.
Mr. Hashim Khan Hoti completed his senior Cambridge from Aitchison College Lahore. He holds Master degree in Economics from Selwyn College, University of Cambridge, UK. He has attended number of courses & seminars from LUMS, International Islamic University etc including Risk Management in Banking (Insead, Fontainebleau, France). He completed his Islamic Banking Certificate course conducted by SBP in December 2006 with distinction. He has also served as resource person for IBP.
Mr. Moghis Rafiuddin Bokhari is Executive Vice President
and Country Head- HR of Askari Bank Limited. He joined
the Bank as of August 10,2007.
Mr. Bokhari has about 39 years of diversified experience
in sales, procurement, operations, administration
and HR in various local and foreign organizations,
including about 12 years experience in banking as
Head of HR and Administration. He holds a Bachelor's
Degree in Arts. He has attended various local and
international training programs on different topics.
Mr. Saleem Anwar is Executive Vice President and presently holding the position of Country Head – Strategic Planning and Corporate Affairs Division at Head Office. He joined the Bank on June 26, 2008 and given additional responsibility of the Company Secretary and Secretary to the Executive Committee and all other committees of the Board.
Mr. Anwar is a Chartered Accountant by profession and brings with him a diversified banking experience spanning over 20 years in the field of Finance & Corporate Affairs in Pakistan & abroad.
He started his professional career with Price Waterhouse Coopers, Chartered Accountants as a Audit Supervisor and later on he also served Al Faysal Investment Bank Limited and Faysal Bank Limited as a Financial Controller.
Mr. Anwar also served Askari Bank from July 2002 to April 2007 as Chief Financial Officer & Company Secretary.
Mr. Suhail Ahmad Rizvi joined Askari Bank in January
1992, prior to commencement of business. He is one
of the founding members of the Bank. Presently, he
works as Group Head (Operations) at the Head Office.
Mr. Rizvi started his banking career with BCCI as
Trainee Officer at Abu Dhabi, UAE in January 1976
and rose to the position of Area Manager, International
Division, Central Office at the time of leaving the
bank in December 1991.
Mr. Rizvi is a graduate of F. C. College, Lahore
and did his masters in Business Administration (MBA)
from University of Sterling Scotland, U.K. He has
attended a number of courses in Credits, Foreign Trade
and Correspondent Banking locally and abroad.
Mr. Tahir Aziz joined Askari Bank in 2005 and is
currently holds overall responsibility for the Bank's
Corporate & Investment Banking Group - that provides
all requisite products and services to the Bank's
corporate & institutional clients.
Prior to joining Askari Bank, Mr. Aziz was working
at Union Bank, as Head of Investment Banking, where
he was responsible for successfully setting up investment
banking as a new business for the bank. Prior to that
Mr. Aziz was with ANZ Banking Group, where he worked
on a number of large ticket-transactions spanning
the power, telecom, infrastructure, textiles, refining
sector etc. Mr. Aziz was also a member of the Risk
Integration team that consisted of 5-memebrs selected
from the ANZ Banking Group worldwide, to develop proprietary
risk models to be used in the bank globally for its
Project Finance and other large-ticket corporate loans.
Mr. Aziz holds an MBA from the Lahore University
of Management Sciences and a Bachelors' in Computer
Science and Physics from Grinnell College, USA.
He has attended a number of foreign and local training
courses including but not limited to Bank Operations,
Credit Management, Corporate Finance and Risk Integration
Model.
